Member Fees
We are very lucky to have maintain hockey fees for 2025. In previous years, we have been required to increase fees to combat forever increasing turf costs and liabilities the club holds.
The committee have secured some new partners for 2025. These are yet to be released, however we are grateful to Basile & Basile for their generous donation towards junior hockey in 2025. Basile & Basile have pledged the lowest fees for junior athletes to play hockey! As low as $150 for some families when combined with the FairPlay voucher. Keep in mind, these placed are limited. Please act fast.
Please also note that due to changes with the arrangements with Griffith University, we no longer offer the Griffith University subsidy. A general University Student Fee is provided which we believe is still the best value on the Gold Coast.
Below are the Roosters Hockey Club Fees that must be paid as part of club membership. Fees include all training, match, umpiring and GCHA Volunteers Levy and Team Registration fees.
The Hockey Queensland (HQ) / Hockey Australia shown must be paid as part of a separate online registration process as outlined in the 2025 Registrations page.

2025 Roosters club fees
Joeys is classed as a development age group. Children up to the age of 10 can participate in this group. The intent is for the older kids to play team-based games against other clubs on a reduced field size however match results are not recorded and no competition ladder is run.
Under 12 and above are true competition games and are played on full field. Players that are eligible for Joeys may wish to play in the U12 competition and can do so but will need to pay the U12 fee structure due to the additional game costs in these age groups. They can continue to play in Joeys at no additional cost if there is development benefit in doing so.

The club is open to a specific payment plan for those that may be suffering financial hardship provided this is arranged with the Treasurer beforehand.

PAYMENT OF FEES
The Hockey Queensland/Australia fees are required to be paid in full at the time of registration.
The Roosters Hockey fees require a minimum deposit of fees to be paid at the time of registration. The amount of this deposit depends on the earlier you register the lower the initial payment will be. A payment plan can then be setup for the remaining fees.
Deviations from either of these options will only be considered under special circumstances and you will need to contact the Treasurer at [email protected] to request alternative arrangements.
