Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Roosters Hockey Club will be held on Monday 21st January 2019. Exact time and location shall be advised in the coming weeks.
The club is accepting nominations for all board positions for a term of one (1) year.

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Juniors Vice President
• Seniors Vice President

Nomination forms are below along with job descriptions. Nominations for board positions must be received by the 17th December in accordance with the Clubs Constitution. 

The club is also calling on Expressions of Interest for Coaching/Managing and other club positions. Expressions of interest are requested to be returned by the 7th January 2019 at the latest. Forms to apply are listed below.

While the regular part of the season has pretty much come to an end we still have two major activities left being our Junior and Senior Presentations and hopefully you have all reserved those dates to attend. It would be great to see both Junior and Senior membership mixing at both events where possible.

The Junior Presentation day will be on the 11th September at the Paradise Point Parklands. Same location as last year and for those that are new, this is on the southern side of the Ephraim Island Bridge and just south of the Paradise Point Sailing club, directly opposite the intersection of Milton Ave and The Esplanade. Some of us will be there from about 8am to set up so if you are available to come down and assist just let me know. We are still finalising the run sheet but will probably look to kick things off from about 10am. A BBQ lunch will be supplied with a small drink for all the players as well. If you have any particular dietary requirements please let us know. 

The Senior Presentation day is at the Vibe Hotel in Surfers Paradise on Saturday 29th October. Details can be found in the flyer below. The cost does include food + a few drinks + entertainment.

Exciting news!!!! Two of our young Roosters have been named in the 2016 U15 Women's Qld No.1 team. Congratulations to Dayle Dolkens and Laney Smith. These are the only two from the Gold Coast named in the Qld U15 teams. A fantastic effort by both.

As indicated in the flyer we are entering 4 men's teams this year with 2 of those in Division 2. While we have the player numbers to make this happen we would still like to gain another half a dozen players if possible to ensure we have adequate numbers each week. You may know of someone that hasn't played for a season or two, or may be friends with someone that may be interested in giving it a shot at Div2 or higher. If you could please share this post with your friends to see if we can get the word out, that would be very much appreciated.

This is a reminder that the Roosters Hockey Club 2015 Annual General Meeting will be held this Sunday, 31st January 2016 at GCHA Clubhouse, Musgrave Ave Labrador, starting at 10am. This meeting is open to all members of the Roosters Hockey Club of 2015.
